Q. How do I put a hold on an item?

If you are looking for a specific book, DVD, videogame, etc. in PointCat and you see that it is checked out, you can put a hold on it by clicking "Place hold."

Once you have clicked on the "Place hold" button, you will be prompted to login. Once you have entered this information, a hold will be place on the item for you. You will receive an email when it is available for pickup.
